

Meet the Artist
Sculptor Quang Nguyen is the fourth generation to continue the family's traditional profession with responsibility and pride. His great-grandfather was Chat Nguyen, a talented sculptor who was invited by the Royal Family of Cambodia to participate in the restoration of the famous Angkor Wat project. His grandfather, Nguyen Binh, was invited by the royal court to participate in the construction of the imperial citadel and mausoleum in Hue. His father was Sang Nguyen, a talented artisan with many famous works on Buddhist statues, including the famous set of eighteen arhats at many temples across the country. Mr. Sang was awarded the Golden Hand by the State. Sculptor Quang Nguyen has been taught stone carving by his father directly and devotedly since childhood.
Quang Nguyen's contributions to Linh Ung Temple and Ba Na Hill further highlight his remarkable talent and dedication to his craft. These locations are not only spiritual landmarks but also popular tourist destinations, showcasing the beauty of Vietnamese culture and artistry. His work on garden designs and Buddha statues adds a serene and captivating charm to these places, making them even more special for visitors.
